As a psychotherapist working in the field of mental health for over twenty-five years I have learned that no two situations are alike. I specialize in working with people who are having problems in their relationships. Sometimes
these problems can be helped by meeting with me individualy. Often it is helpful to meet with both parties so that changes can be made that allow for greater intimacy and less conflict. I have also learned
that couples who are struggling in their relationships often need a therapist who isn't afraid to provide suggestions and direction in order to get things back on track.
Many relationship problems are effected by external stressors as well as mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and problems with addictive substances. Addressing these problem areas can reduce and even eliminate some of the sources that can cause long term relationships to unravel. The newsletters and links that can be accessed on this site address these and other topics in more depth.
I hope you find that these resources are useful and that you won't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or comments.
